Interesting. Here in Aus most are black, probably 50% of the cars. Not sure why, terrible colour for our summers. Autobiography's included.

I've found an Autobiography in Ipanema Sand off-market through a member on the AULRO facebook group. MY10 - last of the 3.6, with the digital display, 156,000km.

My only reservation is whether I should hold out for a 4.4, money isn't an issue but there are only 3 4.4s for sale here in Aus and all but one are black. In fact, of the 12 L322 TDV8 cars for sale here, 6 are black, and 2 are Buckingham Blue (near black). There's a couple of white 5.0L Supercharged - perhaps I should look at a petrol.

Most times when I've looked for insurance valuation there haven't been any 4.4 TDV8 L322s for sale.
My Bournville looks black most of the time because its dirty but it obviously isn't black when parked next to a black one, even when dirty.

My D4 was Bourneville. Great colour, very rare. I bought it sight unseen, didn’t realise it wasn’t black until I picked it up and drove it into the sun.
