2010 L322 Dome Light Screw Size

Hi All - I had to replace an LED in the rear overhead interior light on my 2010 L322 and the centre bulb required me to unscrew the cover from the assembly. Thanks to some canine intervention the jar holding the screws got knocked over and I've only managed to find one of the screws to reinstall.

As a result the cover is held in place but goes a bit wonky when someone presses the "wrong" side. I've looked around and can't seem to find any info on the assembly itself and most relevantly the screw diameter and length. It is very short and looks to be about 6mm in dia. Does anyone know what the actual size is so I can get a replacement?

    Cheers!

6mm sounds awfully big for such a screw. When it stops raining, I'll have a look at my L322.

Is this the lamp you are referring to?

I forgot, the lamp assembly comes out by unclipping it so i'm now confused by your mention of screws.

You say you've lost one of two screws.
Can't you take the one you have to a bolt shop and get them to match it?

Sorry - error of missing word (meant to say 6mm head). It's one of these two in here.

Regarding taking the other to a shop - agreed. Was just hoping there was a quick answer here, shop is my backup.

    Probably M3, i.e., 3mm x 0.5mm or 0.6mm pitch. Pretty common sizes.
