I only keep the Testbook so that I can do work on other Land Rovers if others ask as it isn’t locked to a VIN like the Faultmate and GAP.

I also have an early Testbook (T3) but it needs a replacement SCSI CD drive.
I think I have enough parts to build up another T4.
    Pm sent..

ran around for a week with the wrong one in, everything that i know of worked, power steering, good as gold
got one from UK with the right part no, put it in, its different but it works, haven't had it programed
from day one, i have never lowered the right passenger window, because the first time i lowered it, it would not go up, now it works properly
programed the key ok, so easy, i was surprised.

just a follow up, i got a second hand one from the uk, it worked fine for a while, even the right rear window worked, then the locks started to play up, so i am now back to the wrong one, i am happy with that.
the warning lights still come on, i came to the conclusion that it might be the steering sensor, so i bought one off ebay,
the lights haven't come on scene it arrived, its still sitting on my desk
