    Rear tail light drivers side

So, I foolishly reversed into a post at the local landscaping yard (my own fault) and broke the lens cover of the right side tail light. Only the lens cover broke and all lights still work as normal.
Anybody know if it’s possible to just replace the lens cover, or am I up for a whole new light assembly? Either way, any recommendations for a reliable supplier here or overseas? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Someone backed into me (from the height of the damage, I'd say it was a trayback ute) and broke one. I got a complete replacement off Aliexpress. It was for the US market so it has the additional narrow red lens on the side. It was a lot cheaper than genuine - about $120.

This might have been the place: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...Cquery_from%3A

    ^^ Ahh.

But how to get the old one off?

    Installation:

    1. If you have a better oven.
Simply remove the back cover of the luminaire and bulb.
Put in oven and warm to 80 Celsius Heat for 10 minutes and the glue softens. The lamp is separated from the lamp housing.
2: If you don't have an oven. you must use a heat gun. which heats the sharpest corner of the headlights for a while. and
Insert the screwdriver after the glue has softened. (Note: Don't use too many forums to avoid damage. when preparing for gloves
Touch. still have a little heat. stop heating. Make sure the temperature is not too high to avoid damage
    Faris
4: After heating for a long time, quickly open the corner, don't forget to wear gloves (gloves should be clean. can not be discarded)
5: All goes well. the efficiency is higher. and one room is heated. one minute is enough. If it doesn't go well. Continue one
Heat a separate part with a heat gun. The glue is soft. Quickly separate.
6: After separation. try your best. Clean the glue in the glue tank. Put on gloves and start installing new bulbs
7: Apply glue to the fuel tank with glue. Glue should be moderately serviced. About 2/3
8: Install a new lamp cover. A small amount of glue will overflow during installation. It can't be processed first. After glue
drought. Handle the blade. The pinna glue and the friction surface are made of cloth.
At the end of the assembly, we need to air dry for 3-5 days and we need a few days. Reload the car. And can't wash or rain in a week.

Thanks gents - excellent info. I’ve actually ordered a replacement unit from China for $270 delivered. Beats the $1k the dealership is asking. Hopefully delivery and install go smoothly.

One of mine was filling with dust and had a lot of dirt at the bottom so I decided to wash it out. I pulled the LED panel out and started flushing it and found the outer clear skin was coming off.

A little working in the hot water and it came off completely enabling me to wash it properly.

Now to work out how to glue it back on.
