    Question for the L322 owners

    Gents,
Who has aftermarket 22"+ rims on their vehicle? I want to pimp mine up a bit as it won't be seeing any dirt, my only concern is its enormous weight and are the aftermarket wheels rated for a 3 tonne vehicle?
Some pics and brands would be appreciated.TIA

RangeRovers.net is probably your best bet for this one.

I can only plead with you not to do it, it's only a small step from 22" wheels to gold teeth, furry top hats and bull horns on the front.

If you want to look like a drug dealer, please do the other L322 owners of the world a favour and buy a Cayenne instead..

    Dirtydawg,
I will concur "Dont do it".
I have seen many customers finally get there choice of vehicle & then get 20's or even 22's & then end up hating the ride with a pasion.
Not a lot of sidewall flex with 20/22's & the vibration of the deisel lead to a very uncomfortable ride.
    Just some food for thought.
You save for a beautiful vehicle then spend some good dollars only to be dissapointed.
    Cheers

Old thread but I have just joined...... Nothing wrong with the right set of 22" rims in my opinion, lots of people have commented on my Rangey being a Special Edition or similar, parked next to even a brand new SC model in work my dealership MD commented on how good mine looked.

As for making the ride terrible, that's crap too, in fact when I put my 19's back on the roll in the corners was awful, the sidewall flex doesn't make a major difference to the ride quality and I am talking terrible New Zealand roads here.......

Come to Australia, the road are worse.

I have 20” on my RR and if I had the choice I would have 18” on but not for ride comfort as this can be improved with 20” by simply lowering the tyre pressure ( and the and the milage of the tyres ), I would like to be able to fit 18” rims so I can fit off road tyres.

So far I have not found one decent set of off road tyres that fit the 20”

This is the only complaint I have about the my 08 RR as it limits my off road use.

Ok i'll concede those 22s do look not half bad......

I think because they look like they could have been a stock option, aren't stupidly flashy chrome and the tyre profile has been kept large enough to not look like elastic bands barely stretched round the rim. I like.

What are they from? Jaguar XJR?

I felt the roads in Australia are much better than NZ??

Glad you like the wheels they are Redbourne Duke in 22x9.5 wearing 285/35/22 Yokohama Avid SUV tyres, the reason I went for them is the almost factory look I didn't want a "bling bling" look but wanted something a bit more subtle. I totally agree that chrome wheels are terrible, in fact the ONLY vehicles they suit are old American cars like Impalla's etc.... NOT SUBARU BLOODY IMPREZAS etc etc hahahaha

They look very good for 22"s. Most are straight out bling, but they look quite factory.

Mine came with 18"s then I got a set of genuine 19"s but wouldn't think about going past 20"s myself. I check out the eBay rims every so often, but not much ever turns up in Adelaide
