    LOL! i said that to someone the other day.. my price is when they hit 25k.. give it another year and should be able to get a 2004 one for that with 60k I know.. im dreaming

    I drove drivesafes new one a few months ago and I tell you what.. has to be the most impressive 4x4 ive ever seen.

    Folks, I think you might have a long wait for the price of an L322 to come down much below $40k, particularly the 6 diesel.

    They are not only holding at around that price but, Surprise Surprise, they are holding their price far better than similar models of other makes.

    Like most new vehicles, they loose heaps just driving them out of the showroom. I bet mine went from $169k to about $120k by the time I cleared the dealer’s driveway but my 2003 trade-in got me $40k and it had clocked up 180,000, had a cracked windscreen ( 2k ), a couple of small dents and loads of light scratches from off roading, so I probably could have got another $5K if it was in top nick.

    Even at $40k they are a great deal.

    In three years time the balloon payment on my Lease is on $21500.....but historically they will still be beyond your $20......
