I've had a couple of 'funny' things on my '03 L322 that went away after I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and then re-connected it. Mine weren't to do with the air-suspension, but would be an easy thing for you to try first up.
Hi Guys
Just fitted some side steps to my l322 td6.
I had to jack up and remove each front wheel and fold back the wheel liner to get access to fit the mudflap bracket.
After i had got the wheels back on and all liners back in place, the message ''air suspention inactive''after i started the wagon, came up and has stayed on.
Did i do something to the height sensors? When i jacked it up.
Any suggestions?
Cheers Paul

Hi spudboy, beat me to it.
Hi Brummy, Just try disconnecting the battery and you don’t have to worry about radio codes. They are no longer required.
THANKS GUYS FOR THE ADVICE
UNDID THE BATTERY EARTH,LEFT FOR 30 MINS,RECONNECTED,MESSAGE STILL THERE.
I TRIED THE STEERING LEFT TO RIGHT AND BACK AS SUGGESTED BY SOMEONE, STILL NO GOOD.
HOW LONG CAN I LEAVE THIS,WITHOUT BRINGING ON MORE PROBLEMS.I WOULD PREFER TO GET IT LOOKED AT ON MY NEXT SERVICE,WHICH IS A FEW MONTHS AWAY.
DOES ANYONE HAVE THE ROVECOM COMPUTER SOFTWARE IN SYDNEY TO CLEAR THE FAULT.
CHEERS PAUL
Hi Brummy,
Try sticking key in ignition, start vehicle & turn steering wheel full lock to left, then to right & hopefully all will be ok.
Cheers.
Next time you jack it up, leave the drivers side door open and she wont self level.
You have probably gone past the safe droop limit and one of the 14 ECU's is not happy, nip down to the dealer and clear the codes.
These are very nice cars but can be friggin expensive if your not under the warranty umbrella...good luck.
Thanks Dirtydawg and Sneagy
Tried the steering left to right, still have the message.
Its going to be down to the Land Rover Stealer i guess.......
Cheers paul
HI GUYS
THE PLOT THICKENS.PAID A VISIT TO CREMORNE PRESTIGE YESTERDAY,THEY PUT THE COMPUTER ON ...NOTHING FROM THE COMPRESSOR TO ALL THE AIR SPRINGS.I COULD NOT LEAVE THE CAR WITH HIM AS WE WERE GOING AWAY TODAY AND ALTHOUGH BEFORE IT HAD AIR SUSPENTION INNACTIVE'' IT STAYED AT NORMAL RIDE HEIGHT ,SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE OK TO USE FOR THE WEEKEND, AND BOOK IN FOR MONDAY.AS I DROVE AWAY THE LIGHTS ON THE HEIGHT GAUGE WERE FLASHING ON THE LOWEST AND NORMAL,NEXT WITHIN 100 METRES THE BACK GOES DOWN TO THE BUMP STOPS WITH THE MESSAGE ''SELFLEVELLING' DO NOT EXCEED 60KPH''
ALL THE FLASHING SUSPENTION LIGHTS HAVE GONE OFF BUT THE FRONT IS AT NORMAL HEIGHT.
I CALLED THE GUY AT PRESTIGE AND HE SAID ONCE THE COMPUTER READS THE FAULTS IT DOES ITS OWN THING TO CORRECT THE FAULT AND THATS WHY THE BACKS GONE DOWN,...TRYING TO LEVEL THE CAR.
HOW COULD JACKING UP A CAR CAUSE THIS MUCH GRIEF.......
ITS IN ON MONDAY.
NOT SURE IF I AM TELEPATHIC, BUT I CAN SEE AN IMAGE OF AN EMPTY WALLET IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS...................
REGARDS PAUL
Didn't do any drilling to get those side steps on did ya?
Lots and lots of wiring and sensors on these suckers, acccidentally knock one off.
As for empty wallet..without a warranty you got it in one....
Hi Brummy,
Any news on an outcome???
