    Transfer Case Oil

Hi, I have been told that it is not possible to change oil in my 2003 Range Rover SE transfer case as it is sealed for life. I recently requested a complete oil change in my Rangie and the non dealer mechanic was told that Land Rover was not able to supply this oil and that even Castrol does not have any part number. I have received conflicting messages from Land Rover one saying it was available and one saying was not. I wanted to change the oil as we know that oil deteriotes over time from use and aging.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
    Thanks
    Peter

I found some good wraps for Mobil Agri Fluid on these and other forums and used it to replace the fluid in the TF case on my MY99. The TF case is definitely quieter as a result. The stuff was developed for h/duty wet clutches in tractors, 4WD TF cases etc but NOT for auto transmissions. Comes in 5L containers...doesn't seem to be readily available, best places to obtain it are produce stores /farm supplies/ Mobil depots etc
