The part number for the EGR valve itself fitted to the L322's 4.4 TDV8 has superseded to LR033373, being the one fitted to the MY13 L405 and MY14+ L494 4.4 SDV8. The L322 and early L405/L494 EGR cooler part number has superseded to LR106274 and is applicable to all 4.4 TDV8/SDV8 engines. This indicates that no material change has occurred in the EGR system components.
PS. I recently removed the large section of EGR pipe that protrudes into the donut, expecting less airflow restriction but I haven't yet had the need to stick the boot in to feel if it makes any difference. I can however confirm that the MAP sensor has stayed clean since EGR was mapped-out.
