Looks capable, but seriously where would you use a high lift jack to change a tyre?, how nuch would it cost to fix all those body panels after hitting something?, looks like a fat bloke trying to do cross fit.
Traction control looks awesome though and looks like it be extremely comfortable

Not too many cars sold new that you can use a hi-lift on...and even the defender you need an adaptor and even than a hi-lift would be my last option.

Maybe the D5 has run flats.

HiLift - have one. Only time used was in workshop to stretch a metal frame..

Other than that not a useful device (way heavy and not suited to most uses - there are often better ways)...

As for panel damage - no worse or expensive than any other vehicle - Defender included.

Just need to be able to dial-in its extra height before getting grounded rather than after.

I think a commodore has more rear wheel travel than shown in that video

And that was a pretty steep gnarly climb
A defender on 20" rims at 65psi would struggle up that!
Yet the d5 just scrabbled its way up!

Cause I'm lazy - does it still weigh 2.9 tonne

No mate. New one doesn't have its own gravitational field like D4. But I agree regarding wheel travel. Every iteration since D1 (which, along with RRC was the last word on slow work off road comfort) got stiffer and this looks like a surfboard. It must jar. It's undoubtedly got a lot going for it but I don't like what I see offroad in the videos in terms of offroad comfort.

The lighter the colour the better they are looking. The dark colours take away what little detail they have in the first place.

But that traction control.....man!!!

The capabilities with the potential 18" wheel option running off road pressures, will be quite a sight.

Guys you are aware it has greater wheel travel than the model it replaces and greater wheel travel than a Defender
