    Discovery SVX

It was in the news section but I thought a link here would be more appropriate. This is a D5 I could own. I hope someone can come up with long range tank.....

Fitted with 275/55R20 tyres - is that a Duratrac?

The side ribs are typical Duratracs which have recently become available in 255/55R20 and the GG AT3 is now available in both 255/55R20 and 275/55R20. I'm on the look-out for a quieter tyre than my current BFG AT but one with open enough tread to be of use in sloppy stuff.

Why would they not have built a diesel version.

The off-road ability is probably great but useless unless you are all your load carrying capacity in fuel.

I would wait until the specs are actually announced before asking why engines/options are there or not there.

Anyone silly enough to buy one to take off road will quickly damage a low profile tyre, rim, and very quickly calculate the cost of damaging other parts of the car, like front and rear bumpers, etc. And when some bushes are hanging across the track, if you cant bring yourself to proceed, its all a regretful decision.
