    LR Disco 5 Roof Rack

    Hi all...newbie member here.
Just got my TD6 SE a couple of weeks ago and now looking for a roof rack, I don't know if it's just me but not a lot of options are coming up?
I like the look of the Voyager roof rack in the US but its $1700...any Australian outlets selling anything worth looking at?
    TIA

I can tell you what not to get! The Rhino SX legs do not fit to the rail correctly in that the top of the leg is not horizontal. I've sighted two other D5's with these and they show the same issue as I have.

    LR Disco 5 Roof Rack

APT Offroad had a temporary rack for his RTT on his D5 at the 70th and said his production rack would have been ready a week or two after.

I don’t think it’s in his website, might be worth giving him a call....I think he is working on a few bits and pieces for the D5

    Hi,

I have the Front Runner Slimline II but I am not 100% happy with it. I called into the Roof Rack Super Store over the weekend and the boys think the Rhino Rack Would suit it better and at this point I agree. Rhino would sit lower to the Roof which is a plus in my eyes. Also the Rhino Rack can be longer. Also with Rhino they have a Rack that sits on Cross bars. So I can pop the Rack off if I am not using it. ie lets say mounting a Hard Shell RTT.

I am still looking but at options. But am very seriously considering swapping my Front Runner for the Rhino One.

I went past his workshop the other day and there was a D5 with one of those low profile storage containers on the roof.

So i recon he has some kind of rack sorted.

It’s was more than likely Bens with his Hard Shell RTT which do look like storage. Be interesting which rack he had fitted.

For fans of the Prospeed Roof rack (probably the best looking rack for the D3/D4 IMHO, just very expensive in Aus)...I contacted them to find out about D5 racks.
There is one in prototyping and hopefully would be available closer to year end.

Do these racks attach to your roof rails or direct fit to the roof without rails?

Hi. After lots of research and looking at all the options I have found that the rola rack fits perfectly over the rails.
