I have just finished some wiring on the D5.

The Redarc was on the steering column where I could not see it and the switches were also in inconvenient places so I made up a bracket and put them together there. The switches are, from left to right: 1. ARB Twin Compressor which is fitted in the boot under the false floor with a Bluetooth Pressure Control unit, 2. Master Switch (a Push / Push switch) for the Compressor - needed because the LED on the first switch is on all the time if I don't have one... - 3. The Redarc Tow Pro Elite and 4. Ballast Resistors (Push / Push DPST) so the car knows it has a trailer attached- my camper does not activate it. All are much easier to see and get to now, so worth the effort.

Pulling apart the car to do it was nerve wracking, to say the least, but I finally worked it all out. And, miraculously, it all went back together again!

Once I had put it all back together I started the car and got a whole host of warning messages -
Okay to proceed with caution. No Stability Control, No Auto Braking, No Hill Descent Control, No....

Ahhh!!!!!

Turns out I had bumped the brake switch under the dash. I pulled out the horizontal plastic kick panel, turned the brake switch - that blue thing at the end of the brake pedal - back 20 degrees anti clockwise - with no resistance at all I might add... - and all is okay again. Phew!

Replaced the panel and all is good.

Cheers
