    Mystery warning light

    Hi,

I am looking at buying a 2017 series 5 but am concerned by a red indicator light in the bottom right of the central instrument area. I have not been able to find its meaning in the owners manual so wondered if anyone was familiar with it? Any help appreciated! Photo attached...

    Thanks,
    James

Ah thank you! Ok so from some rapid research if it's only 'thinking' it's in access mode it sounds like it could be a number of issues (sensor, compressor, faulty air line etc). I may still take a gamble and hope it's not too expensive to repair!

    Cheers

Is the light there all the time or only when the car has been lowered to access height?

If there is an air suspension fault then it won't be using the access height symbol to inidcate it.

True but like I said it possibly thinks it's I access height but isn't, otherwise that shouldn't be illuminated.
