Thread: Buying 2018 model. TV not working & MY17 lights.

Hi. I just sold me Velar and looked at a 2018 Discovery TD6 HSE Luxury. 56,000kms. Private sale.

It has TV's in the back of the front two seats for passengers. One of the TV's not working and on the service history it says the front seat needs to be stripped to fix. I've called the dealership but not heard back. Any idea what this might cost to fix??

In addtion. The build plate is Jan 2018. Compliance date Mar 2018. When I popped the hood the sticker for the headlamps said 17MY. Is that normal or something to be concerend about?

And finally. The reverse camera wasnt working when I tried it twice, just black. As the owner went to pull away he showed me and it finally worked. He said it very occasaionaly glitches like that. Hmmm. Should I be concerned?

I really like the car but I'm not a mechanic by any stretch, if anyone can shed any light on the above things that would be great.

MY17 sounds right. The model year starts about August.
