    Spotted: New Rangie Sport

Flanked by two Disco 4s in Hawker, SA. Heading North to Lake Eyre for a photshoot with a journo from the UK. I had just come from Marree so had a chat with the crew. Gotta say, I really don't like the new look. It just doesn't work for me, the old one looks much better. The Disco's looked tough next to it. It was funny, I asked whether they were benchmarking it against the Disco. Their response: nothing can be benchmarked with the Disco. Priceless.

Saw about 6 new RR Sports at Fremantle on the weekend - had just come off a boat and were in with a bunch of BMW's and other euro vehicles.

All of the Sports that I saw were white. Haven't seen one close up to a Disco - but they definitely look better than the BMW X5's that they were lined up with.

Had a good "close up" look at a new sport previous weekend at the LR 65th anniversary event in Perth. Like the look of it, but way too flash for me - and nowhere near as much room inside as the Disco has.
    Cheers .........

No, that was the new 2013 Range Rover - not the Sport. We may be off-road testing a Sport in October for a group of journo's .....

No doubt you will make sure that there is some strategic damage so that it can be sold to you for a much reduced price after the "testing"?? Sounds like a great idea.
