How to remove rear dust deflector on2016 RRS

Anyone know how to remove rear dust deflector/brake light panel on tailgate of 2016 RRS. I wish to drill into it to fit a UHF radio aerial.

I'm pretty sure they're bonded on with Sikaflex. I suggest you choose a less damaging/time consuming method of mounting the antenna. For example, using one of the roof rack mounting nutserts and running cable under channel via rear tail light holes.

Thanks for that advice. There is a single bolt holding the centre front of the deflector but even with this removed the defector dies not budge. That said the entire unit must be removeable to allow for replacement of the brake light.

    Remove RRS Dust Deflector

Seems I now might have the solution. There are three bolts holding front of deflector. One obvious and in the middle when the tailgate is lifted up whilst other two are hidden behind the pull-off covers that cover the tailgate hinges.
Just pop off the two small hinge covers and the bolts will be obvious. That should do it.
All this to fit a UHF radio to the 2015/16 RR Sports!

Finally I think I have the answer. There are 5 x 10mm screws (nuts) holding the unit down and all are easily accessible once the hinge covers are removed. This deflector seems an obvious place to mount a ground plane independent UHF aerial with feed down the existing rubber tubes into the RHS fuse compartment. A remote head radio can be mounted in the space below the fuses where, hopefully, there will be no adverse affects when the transmit button is pressed on the UHF.
