I have PM'd you.
Wondering if anyone has fitted a 2013or earlier 19" x 8" rim (Disco or L320) to either of L494 or L 405. It seems that some of the Sports had both 8" & 9" width rims in the 19" size.
I'm looking at this size for outback touring with my 2015 L405, it seems that with the correct size tyre I can match the diameter of the original 20" wheels and use a couple of these as spares. The (small) benefit of the 19" is that I get another 12mm of rubber between the rim and the road.
I have PM'd you.

Have you considered fitting 275/55R20 to your current rims?

Yes Graeme, that is an option to get approximately the same extra sidewall height . Presumably there are no clearance issues with this size ??
The other reservation I have is that I still have 3 years warranty left and from reading this forum if a problem arises I believe RR can be a bit difficult if all is not stock standard.
I would like to read the thoughts of others on this.
When I fitted my 275s checked with dealer and confirmed no problem with the warranty. You might notice that the new D5 SVX is fitted with that size tyre. D5 and L494 are very closely related. My friend and I had no rubbing issues using this size.
