Drill a hole and weld a nut over it. Problem solved! I don't think there's an easier way really. My old car had the same problem that's what I done. Cheers
The tow hitch that goes into the receiver rattles when I'm towing.
looked on a couple of different (non Landy) cars and most seem to have a 10mm or 8mm bolt underneath that nips up the hitch in the square receiver.
I don't have this, its a factory fir tow bar with a 12 pin power socket.
any ideas how to stop? its bloody annoying.
thanks

I found the easiest is to make up some metal shims or a shim. Just on the top or one on top and another underneath. I used roofing iron of all things and with one shim thats all that was needed. Made it in a sort of zed shape so that it holds itself captive
I just drilled and tapped mine and used a screw (bolt) and locknut, 12mm. I don't have a welder
bring it over and I'll do it for you.
Will do mate thanks. I’m in Perth. Where abouts are you?
