I haven’t seen anything so far for the L494 or L405 series. Frankly with the low sales volumes I doubt if the arb or tjm crew will produce anything. With all the various crash tech and sensors and the like it would be a bit of a job to make one work to ‘fit’ the car and be affordable

I think arb have just done one for the disco 5. The sport and disco’s shared the same chassis etc so not sure about the compatibility of this item. Worth a look though.

You sure, ARB said they had no interest in developing a D5 bar.

I believe that the D5 bar is by ECB. However the D5 has a steel front sub-frame whereas the L494's is alloy so quite basic differences between the 2 vehicles for starters.

That was the case with the old L320 and the D3/D4 but I understand the current RRS and D5 have nothing in common.

In any case while the old RRS and D3/D4 had the same basic chassis the bars were only certified for the D3/D4 so without RRS certification could not be fitted to the RRS even though they fit.

Correct,ARB have no interest in developing anything for the D5,so i doubt they have any interest in developing anything for any other current LR model vehicle.

ECB have a bar for the D5 but it isn't the nicest looking thing....

I wonder if the ECB bar is approved.....would have thought its big dollars, although they have the market captured at the moment.

Either way lots of rigs touring without front bars.
