So, while I was trying unsuccessfully to find a menu within the sat-nav screens that would display the version installed (see sat-nav update thread) ... I remembered from somewhere that there is a special menu screen available ..... so after a little bit of trial and error, the 1st picture is what you get when you hold down the Valet button for over 20 seconds. 2nd picture is an example screen within the Application States sub-menu.
So, this has me thinking... if the resource status for DAB radio (which my car does not officially have) is showing as Available, I am wondering, if I find a way to un-Shutdown the application state, will I suddenly have DAB radio? Presumably I could maybe use one of those approved VCI units mentioned in another thread. Anyone done anything like this before (successfully) ?
