As I understand it 3.0L is 600Nm regardless of 215kW or 225kW up until 2017MY
From 2018MY the 225kW version got 700Nm
Just put a deposit on a 2015 RRS HSE 3 litre diesel and am a bit concerned as I tow and want a 15.5 with 225kw and 700nm.
After reading about Topix here ( thanks) I searched and the spec sheet shows engine 215/600 which would make the car a my15?
The dealer quoted my15.5 which, as I understand it would make the engine a 225kw/ 700 nm?
Is Topix 100% accurate , and how can I tell if the car is a my15 or a my15.5?
Thanks in advance

This is not quite correct. Mine is MY 15.5 and has the 225kw / 700NM motor. If you look in topix it will show: ENGINE POWER SOURCE - 306/700 . (225KW = 306 HP) MY15.5 is the first MY in Australia for this output, as per the spec guide "Publication Number LR9809 Range Rover Sport 01/15 Consumer" . For MY15 it was 215kw/600NM, as per the spec guide "Publication Number LR9651 Range Rover Sport 10/14 Consumer" ( note MY15 and MY15.5 both show as MY 2015 in Topix, they do not show half years)
MY17 introduced Ad-Blue, and the slightly larger touch screen.
That's good info, thanks.
