    Key Fob Program

    Hi All,

I purchased a pre-loved L494 off a BMW dealership. They ordered me a second Key Fob, as the spare had been lost.

Can only LR program the fob or is there another way?

I have it in writing that the BMW Dealership will pay for the program, just looking at options.

    Cheers,

    Kev.

you can program them with a gasp tool but mine would require an update from gap to be able to do it. I've not bothered as I have two functional fobs.

I had to get a new Jag key 5 years ago, got it thru LR, cost about $1500 from memory. Recommend getting a quote and approval from BMW before ordering
