    Hi Peter,
Mine is a SDV6, so not sure if it is the same for you. I have not bought one yet but the closest to original I can find in Australia is the Exide Evolution SSAGM-88EU.
e.g. EXIDE EVOLUTION SSAGM-88EU 24 MONTH WARRANTY AGM BATTERY EQUIVALENT TO A00454110 | eBay

I use one of these and have had in now for 6 months. Saves a lot of weight which may be important for some.

I've had a Repco one in mine for over 12 months now as it was the only one that I could find at 3pm on new years eve 2021.....

Autobarn stock the Varta Range which has an 830 CCA one Varta Silver Dynamic 600 402 083 - H3 | Varta | Shop our Full Ranges by Brand | Autobarn | Autobarn Category | Autobarn but you would need to check your measurements to ensure it fitted.

Seems to be working OK even though it has a lower rating than the original unit which I have in the back of my mind is something ridiculous like 1100 CCA.

    battery replaced

I had to replace my battery the other day. I went with the Exide SSAGM-88EU I mentioned in a previous post. No issues fitting it, same size as the original. Car starts so much better now. Got it delivered from The Battery Hub; their recommended battery was the SSAGM-66EU, but that is smaller and less powerful than the original so I went with the SSAGM-88EU.
I read the workshop manual regarding the procedure for replacing the battery, there is no mention of calibration required, the BMS apparently does auto calibration. Only thing I had to reset was the date/time. (my auxiliary battery no longer works, and I like it that way so I don't have to switch off stop/start every time I drive)

    Battery replacement

I had battery replaced overnight by Battery World Mt Barker, MY16 HSE SDV6, the only issue I have is that the cruise control displays in MPH when digital speedo displays KMH.

Has anyone else had this issue and are there steps to update - there must be a setting somewhere other than user that specifies the units for the cruise control display?

    Thanks

Thanks Tombie; I found that changing the trip computer units updated this setting- was at MPH instead of KM's.

Would have thought it was linked to Digital Speedo but there you go!
