Thread: Second battery 2022 L494 D250

I recently had a dual battery system fitted to my 2017 RRS. Not a cheap fit out but effective. I had a 105 AH battery installed behind the drivers side rear quarter panel and a Redarc dc to dc controller inside the rear cargo area fitted with a couple of Anderson plugs and a cigarette socket as outlets. I’ll post some pics in the next day or two. My main constraint was the size of the battery, concealed behind the rear quarter panel wall. I’m not particularly knowledgeable in this area so paid an auto electrician familiar with land rovers to have it done.
