    Rear Pinion Seal leak.

Looks like I have a slow leak. Have purchased new seal kit but need experienced repairer to do the job. South of Sydney would be best.

    Any recommendations?

I have now had the seal replaced. There are two options, 1 is to remove diff and replace crush sleeve seal and bearing , other is just replace seal. As the pull diff option requires the setting up of the diff preload , which if not done correctly can be fatal to the diff , I opted for the seal replacement.

So as I get the miles up it will be the start of repairs and maintenance which I am happy to do as there is no car that can do what my SDV8 does.

If you remove the nut carefully mark the location of the nut and do up again to the marked location. It will be 99% ok.
