    2017 L494 rear driveshaft question

hey team........ I wonder if anyone is familiar with the rear driveshaft on the L494 series. Where the centre support bearing is there is also a CV bearing covered with what looks like a plastic shroud. In previous models it was a steel shroud which you could work off with a screwdriver........Question....how is the new shroud removed and can it be refitted?..
I ask this all as I may need to replace the centre support bearing.
    Regards
    Dave

110,000 k........symptoms.....at around 80kph while idling along with little load you can feel a shim occurring......the car has towed a van a bit and this issue seems not unusual.........yes, seems a bit early for the rubber buffer around the bearing to go but before I pull all the fittings off I am researching a bit in case that is the issue.
