    bye bye RRS

Well, after a horror few weeks, I have traded in my RRS plus a bit more $ and now have a Subaru Outback 'Sport', which imho is nowhere near as nice to drive as my RRS was.
The horror included $6.5k for new rocker covers, plus $1.7k for some leaking copper washer in an injector and subsequent damage to an electrical plug, $4k for new upper and lower control arms.
Of course the obligatory $1.5k for rear brake pads, and $1.7k for a service... and still did not even get to find out what the wobble in the suspension was at high speeds, nor the disconcerting whirring noise (not tyres, because I got those replaced too) at speeds over about 60kph.... maybe this was just the RRS 'Disconcerting Noise' No Cost Option pack. Going into retirement I can no longer afford to outlay this sort of $ to keep a car going.

Anyway, I may drop in from time to time.... farewell and hopefully your RRS will outlast mine.

Normal rediculous Dealer prices,at a guess.

Which don't do the brand any favours.
