    Changes from 2016 to 2020 SDV8

I am considering an upgrade, and am wondering what changes have been made that would justify a change. I know about add Blue however not sure of other mechanical changes.

IIRC there was a significant display update for MY18 or possibly MY19.

After this week-ends efforts I can state that the latest oil pump, introduced some time after MY18 production started, doesn't work any better than the one in my L322 TDV8 that had done 180K kms.

I am up to 210,000 on my 2016. Do change oil every 10 to 12,000 k's and run 5w 40 in summer , Oil test show good results.

The oil pump number has changed twice since the MY09 3.6 TDV8 but the latest pump has the same width gears as the 2009 version so has the same capacity. The changes could be as simple as different compounds for the included gasket as earlier ones have been known to leak from around the top. The same pump number is applicable to all TDV8s including the 3.6.
