Thread: 2018+ tail light replacement

Some time ago, much to my dismay, I learnt that the corner of the stone guard on my caravan lines up perfectly with the middle of my tail light. I guess I should be thankful it didn't dig in to the panel, but still...

Because there is some sort of smoke film on them, it all held together, but I think some water has been getting in when the rain hits it right. The other day when I was turning right, the dash indicator would randomly flash quickly and then normally. I can only assume that there's some sort of corrosion going on in there creating a bad connection

So, the hunt is on for a replacement. I've seen a number on eBay for about $250ish, which I assume would get the job done, just not sure if the indicator would sweep or flash depending on the car setting. I'm not a fan of sweeping indicators, but still want to retain that option

No idea how much a genuine one would set me back, but powerful UK have them for about 500GBP, which is kinda steep when you convert it. I'd also want to replace them both so they match since the other one would have 6 years of weathering, wear and tear

Has anyone else found a decent replacement that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
