You need to post up some voltages.

Usually if the battery is low, the entertainment system works like that.

Ooookay... batt is at 12.06v overnight.
car starts normally, charging at 14.6.
Been a week since last moved, and then less than 10min running.

All voltages taken at engine bay posts....
Happy enough to go for an hours run... no tunes is an issue..

Waited a day and for some sun,, plugged charger in and read 20%.
Charger drawing about 250w from bus, putting in 15A at 14.5v..
I thought it would draw more than that...

First of, at 12.06v, your battery is at 50% SoC, But SoC is not an indication of actual capacity.

Next, if your charger only supplied around 15Ah then this is not only an indication of battery capacity, but it shows your battery is way down on capacity and needs more than just an hours drive.

Have a read at the link below.

At around 1pm yesterday the charger said FUL ( no, not a typo...)
Shut bonnet till 7am this morning and batt reads 12.56

    Stereo still beeping...

    just to add more fuel...
The stop-start (which I have switched off) batt reads 2.4v...
This may very well be the original stopstart batt...

Hi again Pedro, and your battery is not fully charged.

When your battery showed 12.06v, it was down to around 50% SoC and when you charged it, it should have taken at least 50Ah, not 15Ah.

All indications are that your battery is either on its way out, or as I suspect, it is badly Sulphated and this Sulphation is blocking the battery from being fully charged to its original capacity.

Charing the battery for a few hours will not reverse bad Sulphation, you need to follow the instructions in the link I posted up earlier in this thread.

You have nothing to loose but a bit of time and energy while you may add a good few more years to your battery lifespan.
