Hello sydneysport, welcome to your baptism of fire.

When you get your new LandRover it may be a good idea to take it for a run with the other sydney aulro members and shut up those guys with 'fenders.....lol. They'd love a heated seat, in fact they'd probably love any seat.

    Only joking guys.

Somewhere else there's a story going round about heated seats and male reproductive capability - in that a warm seat may make the sitter sterile -
one for 'Mythbusters'?...or maybe scrambler could shed some light on this...

Everyone should welcome you here, because you've chosen to NOT buy a Landcruiser or a yuppie truck from the fatherland. You're getting a LandRover.

    Cheers, GQ

Reassurance on quality and reliablity would be great.
I thought the Land Rover experience was a empty wallet an oil stained driveway and not caring because you've just conquered your first mountain.
For my part I am sorry for the first page. Once it's recieved it's first scratch (medal of honour) I'll make it up too by assisting in getting it dirty on a trip.

Reading back on the start of this thread i did come accross fairly badly, the advice I gave however has not changed. Cargo nets are no substitute for a barrier, camera's are good but not foolproof, but the heated seats would be nice.

    He can try...

Heating the nuts does reduce fertility - the "ideal" clothing for fatherhood is a kilt - worn with British Army regulation underwear.

Heated seats might be a problem if you have them on all day, but if you're too worried, don't ride a motorbike, don't have a bath and don't wear trousers.

The grey one is Ben and just in front is me, Ben is a good person to ask about modifying your RRS, his is the only one in OZ with a snorkle and he has the 17" rims and Cooper STT Muddies as well as a cargo barrier and drawers (home made).

    Hope this helps.

The short answer must be if you have enough money to splash on a new RR Sport you got enough money to have it tailored to suit your needs either through the options from LR or from aftermarket dealers.
As for everyone comments about your questions that's what poor people do for fun when they can't waste the new RR salesmen time on the showroom floor
