    Its such a laugh!!! Not!!!
Could easily outsell every Land rover model on the market going by demand so far.
If or when it does, market research has shown that what this car represents is exactly what consumers have been asking for.
Not the .1% that use them off-road of course but the rest that use them as a mode of transport because they can.

I put $1000 deposit on one, base model with leather, expected to land in SA around November this year. Deposit fully refundable if wife does not like it. Cost $60k.

Talk in the UK is that if it really does become such a good seller, it can single handedly pull the brand back into the black. Sounds good to me, perhaps they can spend some money on Defender research and get them right. Yeah.

Big Guy you missed the point. The interactive movie is a great laugh. Did you use it to select the package you ordered?

Yes but it didn't get me the SASR 6X6 turbo Isuzu Perentie in desert cam!

    So what's the point?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Well, I did enjoy it. But, like Diana, I didnt get my preference....an FC101.
Perhaps I should have made Henry walk down a dirt track, with lots of noise and no family (2 seats). hehehe
By the way, what is an Evoque? Is it a RRS with a different body or is it a Freelander2 with a new body or is it a whole new marque? (Pardon my ignorance, I tend to gloss over every LR made after 1995!)

Nah, I/wife knew what she wanted a while back.

The movie from what I gather from our in-house design department is meant to make people walk away pondering and doing some research.
Most people now do research, than do touch, smell and eyeball the product in person and than do more research.
Well, thats what we paid our marketing gurus to find out and what they came back with.
    Sounds pretty true too.

More and more adds are left field so to speak now, especially some european ones which will sadly never make it here but are very clever and win most awards.

I was troubled by the multiple toothpastes, even more by the hair flicking (49yo, never had to do that and now its too late ), hated his sisters, felt sorry for grandma, and turned it off. Perhaps I need an Evoke, evooke, evorque (what....ever) to smarten me up?
