RR Evoque on Top Gear - Death Valley - James May

Quite a long segment on the RR Evoque on Top Gear (series 17 Ep 3).

James May took it through Death Valley. Rocky Stuff. Sandy Stuff. High Speed stuff. Handled everything brilliantly. Diesel engine went very very nicely.

Overall got a good wrap up. Only negatives were the cabin is a bit small and the steering wheel controls were too fussy.

Still don't think it is in the same leauge as a full sized RR but they'll probably sell a bucket load.

Bit of a lame ending (in Las Vegas), but def worth watching.

    Cheers
    David

No Low range, but they thought the electronic gadgets (hill decent / traction control / sand mode etc.) made up for that. Side mirrors too big. Perfect for checking your mascara in.

Hope these are a really big success in Australia and flood the market, as I wouldn't mind replacing the Commodore with a cheap second hand (real) Range Rover in few years time.
