Thread: Rims max load

I hope someone can answer. I even did a search and could find no answer on this one as well. Strange the rims don’t have a load rating on them.

If it is any clue, the lowest tyre load rating with an 18 inch rim on the 2012 Evoque is 103 - so implies at least 875kg if (big assumption here) the rim was rated for at least the same as the original tyre.

But - I say this is a big if because the 20inch tyre option only has a 99 load rating which is only 775kg.

But what car are you thinking of putting them on?

I would like to put them on the Discovery 4. I am aware that the Evoque is lighter, so I am looking for information about the maximum load of these specific rims.

PCD is different on the Evoque. 5x108 not 5x120.

They do NOT meet D4 requriments at 880kg (even some of the RRS wheels dont) and adapters are 100% illegal, not to mention going from 120pcd to 108 pcd onto a significantly heavier vehicle is idiocy...
