    Pedro,

Nothing like that at all! Google Discovery Sport Dynamic and look at the pic's - the dynamic pack changes the look entirely!

Well done JRF. Looks like a "hamburger with the lot"?! Amazing the amount of options JLR provide with all their models.
Ingenium diesel?...How many speeds in the auto, and when do you expect delivery?

    Pickles,

Yup Ingenium Hi Output Diesel, 9 speed auto.

I had a bit of to and fro on the options. Originally wanted a HSE, but with a number of standard Lux features and the reduced price of some options on the Lux (the dynamic exterior and interior package is $3k cheaper on the lux vs HSE) it was a no brainer.

I also wanted the 10inch multimedia and better stereo.

The Gesture Tailgate is now standard on the HSE and above - not an option I would have paid for, but pretty cool.

I was originally going white with black pack, but once I saw the dynamic design pack I had to go with the red!

That's it! I think it looks great from the rear, and the interior looks great too.

What made you decide on a Discovery Sport over a Evoque? Same basic car with the RR slightly more expensive but arguably nicer styling.

More cargo space in a DS, but not much else different apart from styling.

What was the damage? A HSE DS would be nice.

The Evoque and DS platform is very capable if the YouTube vids are any guide.

The simple answer is the 7 seat option. Even though I only use them occasionally for short trips around town I like having them.

I agree the evoque is a more striking car but not as good for family duties in my opinion.

I think with the dynamic pack the looks are great - the way it squares off the rump is an improvement over the already good looking standard car
