Thread: Text response feature and Incontrol App

I have recently bought Disco Sports TD4 SE. I have the following questions will be good if anyone can answer that as the showroom people are unable to answer these:

- Text response feature: Anyone tried this feature? I was testing the quick template responses today and they didn't go through. I also tried stopping and sending a text I typed using the car's keyboard, this also didn't go through. Showed car to Melbourne JLR as well they don't know anything about this. I use Samsung S5.

- I am trying to connect my phone with InControl Pack but its not working at all. Does anyone know do you need an upgraded version for InControl ? I have only Standard Entertainment pack for my car. I thought InControl panel is a standard feature in SE as well. Please help.
I have tried downloading the LR remote app but its not available in AUSTRALIA. Why is that ?

I think the InControl Touch Pro has the features you are talking about, but is only standard on the HSE Lux, - Im not sure the SE has the features - but don't quote me on that - I was not sure what was included when I ordered my car - the LR website is difficult to get information from, and the MY17 cars haven't physically arrived I don't think so you cant go in an have a look yourself.


I know the MY17 are supposed to have an upgraded media interface and incontrol, including Spotify enhanced for LandRover.
