That's interesting - it was only on here that we picked up from the interior pics that it was a three seater. The car mags like CarAdvice didn't notice, so the bit about the bench seat isn't that googleable. But I would've expected that the engineers wouldn't've been talking to anyone.
Edit: looks like they were talking to people.

It will no doubt be an option, as some will always want coil, maybe certain commercial applications or touring applications, but yes air will be most peoples pick for reasons you mention like on all the other air landrovers with coil as an option.
Frankfurt motorshow time has been mentioned by JLRA as posted above, with most likely an external event, but could be inside.
Re: road tyres, wouldn’t they be nearly the best choice on solid/hard surface as there would be more tread in contact with the surface, good chance more aggressive tyres would have struggled more
Not surprised they didn’t lower tyre pressures, as the new owners are unlikely to lower them.

Using that logic every car at moab should be on slicks, tyres still need biting edges to grip the rock, claw and move forward.
I think tyres shown are all terrain factory spec jobbies.
I think a good All terrain or mud terrain tire would be the go
Nitto trail grapplers or something similar.
I would lower my pressures and most others that have been off-road before would too, i think they are showing what it can do as it leaves the factory in factory spec. Maybe that's how they always test.
If they didn't they would have to say lower pressures before going offroad.
So i guess the CTIS is not on the new defender.
