    Definitely does not look little.

Off-road credentials have been well and truly proven both with current Land Rovers and what the new defender has been able to achieve at MOAB + the feedback of Norm Land Rover people that have witnessed the new defender at MOAB in person.

I have not seen any facts that would show that the new defender would not be extremely capable off-road.

Look up the trails they have reportedly driven, it's serious four-wheel driving.

For me that middle pic looks like a D4 with about a foot cut off the rear . ( and no roof hump obviously )

Again just me but its like the D1 and D2 , similar just 1 is about a foot longer in the rear.

I hope I am wrong and that wrap is hiding its real shape but at the moment they don't have me wanting to rush out and sell the D3 in eagerness to buy one of these.

    Cheers Ean

For sure, this is the closest we have so far, pilot pics posted for perspective. The way this picture is taken it could be a Hot Wheels car haha

Still quite heavily wrapped, but much less fake paneling.

Bloody silly wheels. That is the stand out for me in those pics above comparing other full size 4x4s to new Deefer.

    Cheers

Think of the target market, and look at all the Rangers, BT's, D-Max's running around the Goldy with 20"+ rims and muddies!
They look tough bro!! Won’t be retro...Won’t be retro...

But pure off-road prowess sits low in the 4wd wagon buying matrix
Otherwise, pajero, prado, patrol would still be releasing SWB models in Australia

I agree there is some indication of width in those photos

But gee it would be nice if someone ran a tape over the wheelbase and LOA

Dimensionally to my eye it looks shorter than a 110?
Certainly rear overhang appears very compact

    Oh well

How many months is it now!!!

Is that how many months or How many more posts

It's going to be a range of vehicles, not just one, according to LR. We haven't seen most of the range yet so it's too early to get excited.

I'm not concerned as long as I can fit a decent profile tyre.
