Did you notice the increase in sales in AU, UK and US last month over last year?

From what I am seeing there is nothing that will hold the new defender back from taking huge chunks out of other players markets.

I found it funny enough to laugh at out loud - the other people in the Cafe gave me strange looks, so it does certainly have some comedic value to some obviously. You seem to take offence far too easily when challanged or anything negative is posted, you really need to take a Becks and have a lie down IMO. We’re all here for the same reasons, but can discuss opposite sides of the coin. Hope that didn’t offend you.

LR will never take a ‘Chunk’ out of any other manufacturer like you are talking about. Yes, LR are up from 800 units in November to 1300 units in March here in Aus - a big jump, but it’s a blip for the top manufacturers - they wouldn’t notice the slightest difference if they sold 500 less units in a month when the sell 10,000 plus. As to the UK and US figures, no I haven’t seen them, and happy to look at them, but don’t forget to post their overall market share too so we can see what sort of ‘Chunk’ they may be looking at.

So you again think you’re the only one that ‘Is putting in any effort’ - that could be seen as offensive and provocative if I was thin skinned, but I’m not so I don’t care, but if you give it, you have to be able to take it.

If you think it is, then you know what to do - maybe take a teaspoon of cement while you’re at it.

You know the funniest thing about all of this - I’m actually quite looking forward to the new Defender but I’m a sceptic not a fanboi. I have read most of this thread and there’s some great info here - but it’s not all yours, others can have their say too without being wrong - something you consistently misinterpret as personal or offensive.

IMO

Given that there have been no ute pilots seen I'd suggest that the twin cab market is very much not the market that they're aiming at.
