This one difference tells you what direction Land Rover are going with it.

Personally I would've liked them to retire the Defender name with the 'Real Defenders' when they ceased production and come up with something new, but I know, it will be good for marketing.

Looks like we are both right.

They say its going to be dual use. And more capable then before.

It would be fair to say the previous defender was only single use without major expensive upgrades like what LRA, ECD etc perform.

Looks like Lucky8 are behind this 100% based on thier recent insty and youtube vids, Im sure many are looking forward to what mods Rijidij are going to do!
