They would be pre-production. LR usually builds dozens of them for a new model. They become valuable.

Let’s hope they also go to a 5yr warranty at least, many manufacturers already have it.

The big T brand has also gone this way with unlimited K’s,for private use,and up to 160 000 k for commercial use, with extra years and K,s on hybrids, etc.

The only issue here is it must be serviced by someone suitably qualified,so the DIY people won’t be able to do it,or the warranty will be void.

    Won’t be retro...

The tyres shown in the photo above would not be flash [ie low profile] but if they used some good profile height like shown in other mule photos on this thread and with good clearance given the short front and rear overhangs it should be quite a weapon off road. Cheers
Ps it looks to me like what the D3 and 4 could and should have been developed to...

So the new Defender will be the L851 while the Defender Sport will be the L860.

Any news on variants, or is that limited to badges and trim?
    Cheers, Billy.

The pre production pics give me the impression they are just re-releasing the coil sprung D3, labelled differently !

Defender Sport? Aren't those two words antonyms?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
