Tusk level of camo is hitting the streets of UK.

Fake ridge on hip line under windows removed, hip line pops out like current defender, maybe a little more.

Is it just me or does it look like lights near where the "coolers" should be?

This is interesting, especislly considering the new defender will most likely be a straight 6.

And is it just me or does this merc 6 seem identical in tech to the ingenium 6 in the RRS HST and new defender?

Will the ingenium 6 MHEV have no drivebelt pulleys on the front of the engine except for maybe the belt driven generator?

Inline sixes fell out of favour due to their dimensions more than anything else. Taller and longer than a V6 equivalent and therefore harder to fit into modern engine bays and exterior styling (bonnet length and height). And much trickier to do an E-W front-drive like that. Inline sixes are inherently smoother, cool better and have less parts and simpler intake and exhaust plumbing compared with their V6 brethren. Plus it leaves lots of room for a turbo on one side and intake on the other. Bring back long-stroke inline sixes, I say. Eights should be bent, but sixes should be straight *flamesuit on* [emoji14]

Spot on the smoothest configuration for an engine is multiples of 6 cylinders - that is why Jaguar when it was an autonomous company stayed with straight 6s or the V12 (really two 6cylinders on one crankshaft). The V6 may be more compact but is not as smooth as a layout.

This is the latest photo of the new defender WITH NO CAMO!

As you can see there is a factory winch, factory sliders, factory roof rack, factory snorkel and the guards are way wider than we thought. Other good news: there's a wheel option smaller than 18inch!

Apparently they're being made out of a factory in Denmark!

Haven't seem one with a bar lately,seems none of the Tusk ones had them fitted.
