Yep its got lots of weird and wonderful stuff inside, top and front. Bonnet clamp is just to hold the old bonnet camo on, if the pilot still has that on.

Someone else on a US forum made a good point, if the ladder is "as per lego" would it not get ripped off by trees?

Would it always be there or maybe clipped on and stowed elsewhere if lego is infact showing some clues.

So weird having somebody on *this* forum wishing for plastic underbody on a Defender.

Of course all that stuff won’t be standard. My point is that the vehicle is designed to allow for many things with factory options – and that means that aftermarket options are also viable. It’s not like the D5 for which the various accessories are challenging, ill-fitting, sometimes destructive, usually hard to find. The 2020 Defender will have LR and 3rd party options galore.

Funnily enough I thought about that this morning. Even small branches can get caught in such ladders and damage paintwork, window, pillar etc. My.preference is for rear ladder.

    Cheers

    Ladder
    Rock sliders
    Bash plates

Now that’s got me wondering if they might even do a dual battery rig and an on-board air compressor for tyre inflation. Perhaps an obvious spot for 2-way radio mounting. Big questions still around bull bar and long range fuel options.
If memory serves me right some RRS models have 105L fuel capacity which largish capacities can fit under the middle, but it is a new platform MLA and different forms of hybrid are involved..im guessing 1000km + range out of the factory.

We know we have this bar which would do just fine until something better comes along

Central Air was one of the earlier patents spotted - so definitely an air compressor when/if that comes off!
