Yes, in essence the only downside to a monocoque design.

Dunno about the pieces of crap tho ..
Personally, I'd prefer the more rigid design over a lumpy road.

They say all aluminium body too .. so hopefully relatively light weight, and no more rusted out chassis and bulkheads!

There's always an alternative way to categorise what progress really means.

I like the overall aesthetic. Not particularly the headlights, full round would have been better.
Definitely better than the D5 for sure.
D1 -> D2 got a little nicer -> D3/4(nicest overall look) .. but D5 went way off the mark with the 'Discovery look'.

Same thing happened to the RangeRover. classic to P38 was a case of <what'tha!?> .. then the L322 came good again, but since the L322 it's gone off the rails again, in terms of maintaining the look of the previous generations.
