I don't think there are many d5s being used that hard, sure some are but the majority is doing the shopping and school run. I don't like small capacity diesel engines unless they are conservatively tuned in which case most will complain that they don't have enough balls ie 2.2 puma
So no proof? The New Defender

None other than my personal opinion. Mate I work with heavy vehicles all day, and yes I like big engines...

Only city based faux sports car utes or tradie utes.
Load carrying utes have a straight tray.
Spend any time in the bush and that's what you'll see.

Nup. Anyone who carries things that bleed or put out vapour like petrol etc know the benefit (or requirement) of a ute. Can't be replaced for certain things.

    Cheers

I dont discriminate between city or bush drivers, work happens in both.

"Spend any time" comment was unnecessary.

No one said it was a bush only work vehicle.

Again just certain types of work, this wasn't the point at all, no one is ever going to say its suitable for all work, however for many types it will be The New Defender

Here's some new shots that grabbed my attention

    Right hand drive for Scary

And one of those prototypes on the road, seen on back of car carrier.

    Interior and ladder detail.

Finally a 4x4 that looks good with a hard rooftop tent.

I dont often like the look of the hard ones but this will be on my list off accessories.

Great shot offroad by Nick Dimbleby and another dirty one that looks the goods.
