isn't it good to see another article on the defender?

there have only been several hundred in the last 2 years.

we still can't get a date on when we can get to see or drive a defender

why would they send 100 90's here when they can't even confirm if and when there will be any 110's here?

I was having a look at a new Disco the other day , some car.....I think you might get used to the barge arse.....might be a better buy.

Re better buys and having owned both RRC and a 110 County, I think an RRC is the better buy and more practical vehicle.

    But we love our Defenders.

That's what i ended up doing

    Bought a D5 SDV6 HSE on 31st December.

Far better value than the New Defender (for what i use it for) & the 225KW 700nm diesel is awsome.
    Cheers

I think I read somewhere that the first 90s to arrive in Aus would be highly optioned including the 400HP petrol engine.

In the article from drive in the link below it confirms they are P400 First Editions, turbo charged straight six 3 litre petrol with MHEV. 0-100 K's in about 6.1 seconds.

Similar performance specs to our patrol, which i was going to trade in on the p400 110, until i saw the price, at which was close to double what i paid for the patrol, which i couldn't justify.

entry level P400 on the 110 model is the S, so would be a tad just over 100K ish on road.

I don’t think too many would want the S,we wouldn’t after having the 7/seat D4,that’s for sure.

Small fuel tank is an issue with the P400,particularly if towing.

Going from a Patrol,LC or D4 to a new 110 also means losing a lot of room, particularly behind the center row of seats.

Apples for apples, would need to have the same specs as the patrol, e.g 8 seats, rear locker etc..makes my brand new $65k patrol look like a better option, would be guessing the 110 would be $120k+
