MHEV spec
Gents,
Can someone please point me to an official LR explanation and spec of the MHEV part of the Defender? Seems LR are typically vague on this.
Cheers.

If it is like the RRS MHEV it will do about 25KM on battery.

I'm pretty sure the MHEV only drives an electric supercharger so it won't be possible to drive on electric power alone.

Yeah, MHEV is not capable of driving the vehicle on battery alone, beyond about 3km/h. It's really just for improving fuel efficiency.
PHEV is the one that gives you a short-ish range EV for gentle city driving, with a bigger battery and electric motor (and a smaller internal combustion engine). PHEV is designed to let you shift a chunk of your automotive energy supply from the bowser to the AC grid.

Thanks for the info gents but what I'm looking for is info on LR's AU site for the Defender. I can't find a mention of it anywhere other than "MHEV" in the engine title for the Defender X.

Yeah there really isn't any. What actually do you want to know that isn't covered in that press package?
