LR's recent email promoting the Defender came with a note that they are having problems with the diesel production so it has has been removed from the AU build web-site.

I doubt you will have to worry as I bet it wont appear here.

In reality there is no real market for it in Aus.

I hope they do bring it here.

We didn't get the Discovery Commercial spec here so we probably won't get the Defender either.

i suspect that actually Australia had a pitiful allocation in the first place for 2020, which was only amplified by the shutting down of the factory
and subsequent supply chain problems.

No doubt the US and European markets are a priority..
