Pays to check the forum regularly.

I had the update over two weeks ago on my MY21 D300. Standard screen. I only just saw this post and went and checked the software and it said 3.0 and had instructions to impair and pair phone to access wireless apple CarPlay. Bloody amazing!

    Thanks everyone, best thing ever.

Now that I have had a week or so with wireless apple carplay I've found some issues.

While it is connected to apply carplay wirelessly, every time I drive under the toll gates it cuts out. Sometimes it completely drops out but it is only every time under the toll gates when the e-tag beeps.

Strange but I'm going to contact the dealer and see if this is something they are aware of.

This is a well known issue in Melbourne, with both factory & aftermarket wireless CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto.

Seems to be worse with Apple than Android.

Toll points, and even some fixed speed cameras. Interference with both WiFi and Bluetooth.

My partner in Melbourne (car audio shop) is trying to map out all the locations, and there's a lot of them.

It's affecting everything; aftermarket head units from Kenwood, Alpine, etc, and factory systems from BMW & MB, guess add JLR to the list...

    other features with 3.0

even since the 3.0 install, my emergency steering feature has become far more assertive,
especially as i have the Lane Keep Assist off. If I give the indicator stalk a gentle nudge to
only temporarily signal and start to move lanes, the vehicle tries pulling me back into the
original lane i was departing from.. However if i literally put the indicator on properly on
a permanent basis, change lanes and then cancel, all is well with the world.. Only in the
last few weeks since 3.0 arrived on the scene

Just wonder what other software tweaks were done to some of the safety features

My D5 which I've had for 3.5 years and almost 100k, and which I've had a love/hate relationship with the whole time, has through various updates, caused me the same grief.

Early on the AEB would do nothing, then say two years ago after an update was super aggressive, so much so SWMBO would freak out at the alarms if someone dared to change lanes 50m in front of us. About a year ago after another update it settled down. Still aggressive but not so scary.

    Gotta love technology.

Strange exact opposite for me less assertive, update notes less then helpful. Tried to read up on these safety features in the Land Rover Iguide , but that no longer works on my iPhone (IOS 15.1) used to work fine.

when the car was new (Oct 20) the emergency steering was a complete PITA, it then got better with later
releases of software, just now it has started again, a few on the FB owners group have commented similar

    Issues with wireless Android auto

Hey guys! Just joined the forum and stoked to be here! I managed to get the recent update last week but am having issues with wireless Android auto as it keeps giving an error that the connection failed. But if I connect it via cable first and then disconnect it, it seems to work fine. Anyone else experience this before?

Are you using a profile? Try logging out of your profile, and logging back in. Also forget the device and try adding it again.

I kept losing favourite radio stations - because I had not setup a profile. Each time the car installed a new software update, I lost my stations. Creating a profile fixed it.

After the pivi update - don’t forget to check/change your settings to kmh from mph.

    Amazon Alexa update

According to a report in Drive, you people with Pivi Pro should get Amazon Alexa voice control installed automatically before too long. Should be interesting.
